Chapter 13

Laura said nothing as the van pulled out from the dark car park and turned onto the main village street. Doug sat in the driver's seat, a contented grin on his face as he drove, occasionally glancing across at his lovely companion.

She was still naked, apart from her shoes. As he had threatened, Frank kept her underwear, hanging it up on hooks behind the counter like a hunter's trophies. Laura wondered how many men would stop there in the future and would see the evidence of her debauched visit. She imagined Frank telling the story, and of the jealous faces of the drivers who had not been there to witness the beautiful youngster who had walked into the establishment wearing next-to-nothing and who had given herself so freely to those inside.

Laura's hand stole down to her sex. They had allowed her to quickly wash in the decidedly unhygienic toilet after finishing with her, and she shivered slightly as her fingers brushed against her clitoris and she recalled how aroused the men had made her.

The van's headlights picked out the motorcycles still parked at the side of the road. The bikers were still hovering around them, still drinking heavily and looking a lot more rowdy than before. They were a rough looking crowd, she mused, about seven in all, wearing tattered and oily denims.

'These the guys you were trying to avoid?' asked Doug as they drew closer.

Lisa nodded.

'Well, I guess their loss was our gain,' he said, chuckling lecherously.

They nearly didn't make it. As they approached the pub Laura could see the headlights of a car moving across the car park, and Doug pulled his van across the entrance as Cassandra's car reached it.

He turned to Laura. 'This is where you get out,' he said. 'Any time you want to come back to visit us you're more than welcome.'

Laura climbed quickly from the cab; more people might be leaving the pub and she was anxious not to be seen. As the van pulled away she dashed round to the passenger door of the car, and Cassandra watched without expression as she climbed in and slammed it behind her.

'What happened to your underwear?' she asked.

'I lost it,' Laura snapped bluntly. 'Let's go, shall we?'

'Who was that guy?'

'Just a van driver. Come on, there's people over there. They might have seen me.'

'Are you going to tell me everything that happened this evening?'

Laura said nothing, but stared straight ahead indignantly.

'I want to know every detail,' Cassandra warned, and then she eased the car out onto the dark country road.
